You Asked For It! - MX178
Megatrax has always relied on client input and feedback to guide our production. We are proud to continue this tradition with the release of our first client request disc entitled "You Asked For It!" which consists entirely of recent client requests ranging from dog-themed hip-hop to Gregorian chant! On this one-of-a-kind disc you will find such diverse styles as contemporary urban/hip-hop grooves, Ice Cream truck source music, current film/TV styles, unplugged acoustic rock, cheesy '70s disco, a talk show theme, music for a Celtic dance spectacular, Gregorian chant, solo sax street performer riffs, wedding bells, harp glisses plus the infamous "Chop Sticks" piano ditty. Of course, this project was largely facilitated by the fact that Megatrax maintains its own in-house live and electronic recording studios, with the ability to quickly turnaround custom music in any style. According to Megatrax Executive Producer Ron Mendelsohn: "This album was one of the most fun to produce- the variety of styles on here is mind-boggling. We employed all sorts of diverse ensembles and composers during the course of this project. We are very pleased to be able to produce this kind of album based entirely on client input- this kind of custom service and quick turnaround is exactly what sets Megatrax apart from other library companies." |

Our Staff Is Growing
Two new Sales Reps recently came onboard. Sean Smith joins the team as Manager in our TV Broadcast Division. He comes to us from previous stints at Killer Tracks and Selectracks. Michael Scott joins us as Director of New Business Development for the AV Division. He was most recently at Network Music. |

NAB 2006 will mark the debut of Version 2.0 of our popular Musicsource Hard Drive ("MS HD") system, adding a browse/quicksearch by CD function to our acclaimed user-friendly search interface. "MS HD" has been a huge hit with our clients -- already hundreds of facilities are working with these new compact drives, which render obsolete the need to shelve physical CDs.
Our hard drives come with a choice of WAV, AIFF or MP3 files. In June 2006, Soundminer bWav files will be available.
It is our commitment to deliver "Music Your Way" by outputting our data to your own system requirements.
In addition to our hard drive system, Megatrax is proud to be one of the only libraries around to offer clients a choice of two different online search systems, Musicsource and PLAY MusicFinder.
